People go on modelling courses to improve their modelling skills. Assuming the course is any good they will come back modelling fit, fired up and ready to do great modelling deeds. But how much thought goes into the environment to which they return?
“After years of pain and anguish – suddenly I had found a new way”
“Had it been a FAST model, the issue would have been spotted quickly”
“The ICAEW recommend that organisations adopt a standard”
“Nobody likes my answer – which is to rebuild the model using a modelling standard”
The question is not “whether to sign switch” but rather “how to sign switch and where”.
“My flight is being called and I still cannot think of a single advantage to using OFFSET”
“Interim FAST modelling is FAST modelling but undertaken in an existing non FAST model”
“FAST financial models, with transparency at their core, are designed to satisfy key stakeholders quickly and easily that their objectives are being met”
“Unique labels can also help to bust jargon”
