F1F9 operates in New Delhi, India. There is no school or university in the world that teaches the exact skills that we need. We are not analysts that put together company profiles or financial consultants. We are spreadsheet engineers. Our job is to work with clients to create and maintain spreadsheets that make their businesses more successful. Trained on the job, we put our training to good use in a collaborative modelling environment with open communications, client interaction and team work.

F1F9 can be the start of a fulfilling career.

F1F9 rewards hard work. Recruits start in a junior position but are offered clear routes for new responsibilities and increased pay. It takes an average of two years to progress from Associate Financial Analyst to Financial Analyst, and another two to become a Senior Financial Analyst. After a further two years you can become Project Manager with direct responsibility for clients. We work in teams and anyone with the right skills has the chance to become a team Leader.

Client Interaction and Responsibility

We set a high premium on people who are willing to take on responsibilities and we do not hide juniors away in the back office. If you are involved in a project you will quickly get contact with clients, helping you understand their requirements.

Clients and Projects

We maintain and build spreadsheets and financial models for many different types of clients and projects. We have developed PPP operational models since 2000, pioneered collaborative "relay" modelling on large infrastructure projects, and converted legacy spreadsheets to FAST Standard compliant models for companies in the energy, power, social infrastructure, insurance, waste management, automobile and transport sectors. Our clients are our partners and we deliver a service to them. The end product, the spreadsheet model, carries our partner’s logo and not ours. That is why we do not list the companies that we work with here.

An Ideal Candidate

Only we can train recruits to give them the exact skills we need. We look for hard working and intelligent graduates with a background in engineering, maths, and business who are willing to learn on the job.

F1F9 has a flat organisational structure but there is plenty of space for growth. Because we expand aggressively with regular intervals there is constant movement within the organisation. We welcome recruits who are keen to start a career as spreadsheet engineers, working closely with colleagues and clients. Most of our clients are outside of India so excellent English is a must. There are some opportunities for travel.
