At F1F9 we believe that business has a social as well as an economic purpose. We strive to build sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships with our suppliers, our customers and our staff. We're in this for the long term.
In addition to donating 1 per cent of our revenue to charity every year, we look for practical ways to contribute to our community. Where possible, we buy from organisations or individuals with a social conscience.
In New Delhi, where our modelling services are based, an estimated 4 million people live in slums. Generations of families grow up on the margins of society, without access to clean water, a place to call home or a job to earn money for food. Without identity papers or access to financial and social support, they live with the constant threat of eviction and dispersal. Through our partnership with the Indian NGO Asha we are trying to help them make a difference in the slums of Delhi.
