Course booking terms & conditions

Course fees and payment
All payments must be received in full prior to the course start date. Online courses must be paid for either online or on receipt of an invoice before access to the online classroom will be granted.

Registration fees for public courses (both in-person and live online) include post-course access to the video-based version of the course (where available) plus ongoing online support from our modelling team.

For public in-person courses, morning and afternoon refreshments and lunch will be provided. Delegate accommodation and travel costs are not included in the fee.

Billing and confirmation
Invoices and / or payment confirmations will be forwarded on request.

Cancellation policy
A full refund will be given for cancellations up to 30 days before the course. A comparable future course may be attended in lieu of a refund depending upon availability and location.

Cancellations received between 14 and 29 days before a course will be given a 50% refund, unless the course place can be filled in which case a full refund will be given.

Cancellations received less than 14 days before the course start date will not be refunded unless the place can be filled. Delegate replacements are welcome and will incur no additional charges, but replacement delegates must be both willing and able to complete pre-course work before the first session of the course.

Schedule changes
In the case of rescheduled or cancelled courses, F1F9 will give registrants as much advance notice as possible. On such occasions, full refunds or a new course date will be given depending on delegate preference. F1F9 will not be responsible for penalties incurred as a result of discounted or advance travel purchases.

Venues for in-person courses
Locations and course timings will be confirmed no less than 2 weeks before the course date. Most courses run from 9:30am to 5:30pm with a one hour break for lunch and a morning and afternoon break, but delegates should check the details provided for the course they are attending.

System requirements for live online courses
Our Live Online Tuition courses are run via Zoom, so participants should make sure they can access that application or browser window on the machine they will be using for the course. Live online courses include a short introductory session so we can make sure that all participants’ IT is set up and working correctly. Participants will need a working microphone (and are also encouraged to use their webcam to allow for better / easier engagement with the instructor during the course).

Laptops / software
All course delegates will need a laptop equipped with Microsoft Excel 2007 software or later. People travelling internationally to attend in-person training should make sure they bring a suitable power adapter.

Pre-course work
Delegates are required to complete pre-course tutorials online in order to be full prepared for the classroom / live online training.

Online accounts and access
Access to the online learning platform (whether an online course is paid for or access is granted due to in-person course attendance) is strictly for one user per account. Login details must not be shared with anyone other person, and any accounts abused in this way will be locked without refund.

Certificates
An official Certificate of Completion will be issued to delegates upon request.
